LIGHT THIS CITY: 'The Unwelcome Savior' Video Posted Online

March 22, 2007

Bay Area thrashers LIGHT THIS CITY recently completed shooting their debut music video outside of Los Angeles with director Soren (UNEARTH). Watch the clip for the song "The Unwelcome Savior" at YouTube.

"It was an amazing experience, and we felt honored to work with someone who has so much experience capturing the intensity of this style of music," the band previously stated about the shoot. "What we saw of the video looked stunning, and we can't wait for it to make its online and television debut!"

The clip comes from the band's most recent offering, "Facing the Thousand", released last fall. The follow-up to 2005's "Remains of the Gods" was recorded with producer Zack Ohren (ANIMOSITY, ALL SHALL PERISH) at Castle Ultimate Studios in Emeryville, California and features artwork by RobotPlague's Mario Garza (SUICIDE SILENCE, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, HE IS LEGEND).

LIGHT THIS CITY is currently gearing up for a handful of headlining shows before hooking up with HORSE THE BAND, THE NUMBER 12 LOOKS LIKE YOU and SO MANY DYNAMOS for the "School of Rock Tour".
